Soprano Titanium: the technology at our Cologne studio

Depending on the body area, hairs grow at different depths and contain different amounts of pigment. Conventional devices often work with just one wavelength. The Soprano Titanium therefore combines three wavelengths in one handpiece.

Three wavelengths for different hair depths

• Alexandrite (755 nm): absorbed particularly well by melanin and suited to light and fine hair.
• Diode (810 nm): reaches medium depth and is suitable for normal to thick hair on the arms, legs and cheeks.
• Nd:YAG (1064 nm): reaches the greatest depth and is important for treating darker skin types.

In-Motion: heat instead of single, harsh pulses

With the In-Motion technique (also called SHR), the handpiece glides across the skin. Instead of single high-power pulses, many lower-energy pulses gradually warm the hair root. Cooling throughout the treatment

While the laser warms the hair root, the contact surface of the handpiece cools the surface of your skin. This keeps the treatment easy to tolerate, even in sensitive areas.

Why the Fachkunde nach NiSV matters to you

Even the best device achieves little without qualified staff. In Germany, the Fachkunde nach NiSV is the qualification required for laser hair removal. It is set out in the NiSV, the German regulation on protection against the harmful effects of non-ionising radiation. Our specialists hold this qualification.

For you, this means we adjust the settings to your skin type on the Fitzpatrick scale and to your hair type, we know the risks for each skin type, and we check medication and pre-existing conditions in advance. How your treatment in Cologne works

1. Free trial treatment: you get to know the technology on a small area, with no obligation.
2. Individual consultation: we analyse your skin type and hair growth, discuss medication and hormonal status, and draw up your plan.
3. Preparation: avoid waxing, epilating and plucking for at least 4 weeks beforehand, shave 1 to 2 days beforehand, and stay away from sunbathing and sunbeds. Our before and after checklist (in German) will help you.
4. Session: depending on the area, it lasts a few minutes to about 2 hours. Afterwards, you can go straight back to your day.
5. Aftercare: slight redness usually fades quickly. Avoid saunas and intensive exercise for 1 to 2 days, and protect the area from the sun with SPF 50+.

How many sessions are realistic?

The laser only works on hairs in the growth phase, known as the anagen phase. Only some of your hairs are in this phase at any one time.
