Smoother skin instead of constant hair removal
Body hair was once part of our evolution, but today many people find it bothersome. Shaving, plucking, epilating and waxing take up time again and again and only bring short-term results. With permanent hair reduction by laser, hair growth is reduced significantly over several sessions, so your daily or weekly routine becomes much less frequent. That leaves more time for leisure, family or simply yourself.
People who have relied on waxing so far appreciate the difference too: no waiting until the hairs are long enough, and less stubble between appointments. We give you personal advice and plan the treatment to suit your skin and hair growth.
How laser hair removal works
The laser emits light energy, which is absorbed by the pigment melanin in the hair and converted into heat. This heat reaches the hair root and damages the structures from which the hair regrows. This only works when the hair is in its growth phase (anagen phase). Because only some of your hairs are growing at any one time, several sessions are needed.
Our guide explains in detail how many sessions are advisable for each body area (in German) and which intervals we recommend. We are also open about side effects and what is normal (in German).
Soprano Titanium Special Edition: three wavelengths in one handpiece
We work with the Soprano Titanium Special Edition at both locations. The device combines three wavelengths and cools your skin during the treatment:
- 755 nm (Alexandrite): particularly suited to lighter and finer hair.
- 810 nm (Diode): the all-rounder for most hair and skin types.
- 1064 nm (Nd:YAG): penetrates deeper and is also suitable for darker skin types.
This combination makes it possible to treat different skin and hair types. You can read more in our article on laser hair removal on dark skin (in German). There are still limits: white, grey and very light blonde hair contains hardly any pigment. We will tell you honestly before you start what is possible with light, red and grey hair (in German).
Who is permanent hair reduction suitable for?
The treatment is suitable for women and men who would like less body hair and struggle with razor burn or ingrown hairs. Among other areas, we treat:
- Underarms
- Bikini line and intimate area
- Legs
- Face
- The full body
- Back, chest and stomach, see laser hair removal for men (in German)
Before you start, we check during the consultation whether the laser is suitable for your skin and hair.
Advantages over shaving, waxing and epilating
- Time saving: regular hair removal at home is gradually needed less often.
- Costs: in the long term, you spend less on razors, wax and repeat salon appointments.
- Skin comfort: fewer cuts, less razor burn and fewer ingrown hairs.
- Flexibility: almost all parts of the body can be treated, individually or as a package.
Our treatment process in 5 steps
- Free trial treatment: you get to know the technology on a small area, with no obligation.
- Personal consultation: we analyse your skin type and hair growth, answer your questions and draw up a treatment plan.
- Preparation: avoid waxing, epilating and plucking for at least 4 weeks beforehand, stay away from sunbathing and sunbeds, and shave the area 1 to 2 days before your appointment. Our before and after checklist (in German) sums everything up.
- Treatment: depending on the area, the session lasts a few minutes to about 2 hours.
- Aftercare: slight redness usually fades quickly. Avoid saunas, sunbeds and intensive exercise for 1 to 2 days.
